The DCLA Diamond Exchange was launched to provide consumers with a secure and convenient way to buy DCLA certified and guaranteed diamonds. Sell Diamonds which are accurately graded in accordance with International Diamond Council (IDC) and The World Jewellery Confederation (CIBJO) rules.
The principals of the DCLA Diamond Exchange are Diamond Dealers Club members, affiliated to the WFDB, and are proud holders of WFDB mark.
Ethics, good business practice and morality are paramount and these are protected vigorously by the Constitution of the World Federation of Diamond Bourses (WFDB). Holders of the WFDB Mark pledge to uphold The World Federation's Code of Principles, or WFCOP.
The WFCOP is made up of a preamble, which describes the ethical and moral obligations of a WFDB member, and an appendix, which lists the relevant resolutions passed by the organization. Issues addressed include HPHT treatments, conflict diamonds, synthetic diamonds, child labor, health conditions in the workplace, disclosure and non-disclosure, fracture filling, laser drilling, and the removal of laser inscriptions from a girdle.
All Diamonds available through the DCLA Diamond Exchange have been carefully selected by experienced diamantaires from diamond cutting centres around the globe including South Africa, Botswana, India, Canada, Russia, and Belgium. These diamonds are accurately graded to the highest standard and quality guaranteed.
